Promperu: Maximizing Video Views with a Controlled CPV


To generate 2 million views for the online video #MasPeruanoQue, which celebrated Peru’s independence day, over the course of 4 days.


We leveraged our partnership with Google to maximize reach in order to meet our target within the short time frame. We used a variety of formats and content networks in order to maximize impact. We monitored the campaign closely, regularly optimizing bids by schedule and segmentation.


With a controlled CPView, we achieved more than 2.5 million views lasting longer than 30 seconds. This was the first campaign on such a short time frame to yield results of this magnitude in Peru. Organic and paid video yielded more than +2.7 million views in less than a week, managing to be number 1 in presence in the YouTube Ads Leaderboard 2015 Peru. To mark the success of the campaign, Google granted Promperu and Ecselis the Award of Video Excellence, 2015 (Peru).
